A beautiful, unique mix of Svart Hona (All BLACK) x Mystic Onyx. The roos in the flock are Altair and Ezio, both being pure Svart Hona, while several hens are pure Svart Hona's and a few others are pure Mystic Onyx. This means you have a very large chance of getting a RARE PURE SVART HONA! This is such a beautiful mix of birds! Customers in the past rant and rave of the beautiful dark, all black coloration while adding the heavy egg production of the Mystic Onyx.
These birds are ferocious foragers and very friendly. My flock spends the daylight hours free-ranging and interacting with dogs + humans. This keeps them happy, healthy and friendly.

Eggs are collected everyday and shipped via Priority mail to ensure quick delivery. Eggs are shipped in the order payment is received and come straight from the coop to shipping box. Each egg is individually wrapped and secured with padding. I also include one or two extras. Just because an egg does not develop, does not mean it is not fertile. There are many factors out of my control once the eggs leave my possession. Hatch rates are not guaranteed, as there are many issues that can arise during shipment that can prevent viable eggs from developing (x-rays, temperature, scrambling, detached air cells, etc). If you are not comfortable with the risks involved in having eggs shipped, please do not buy - or - consider local pickup, thank you for understanding!
Once your eggs arrive, place them pointed side down in an egg carton at room temperature and allow them to sit for 24 hours BEFORE placing them in the incubator. This allows the air cell to settle back into position after transportation and increases the hatch rate. Please feel free to message with any other questions or concerns. Thank you!
