My name is Christy and I will be attending Law school this fall and will be living approximately two miles from the Appalachian College of Pharmacy campus. I am looking for a female Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to assist me before and after classes each day. This is a flexible, part-time position that would be a great opportunity for a student interested in earning extra income while making a meaningful difference for me and my law school journey.
Daily responsibilities include:
Assisting with dressing
Light housekeeping and laundry
Basic personal care (training will be provided)
Desired qualifications:
Physically able to perform slide-board transfers
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Positive, dependable, and compassionate
Enjoys making a meaningful difference in someone's daily life
Female
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Available shifts:
7 days per week
Mornings: 5:00 a.m. start time for approximately 2 hours (weekend start times are flexible)
Evenings: Approximately 7:00–9:00 p.m. for about 2 hours each evening (depending on our class schedules)
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday also offer optional partial-day or full-day shifts (up to 12 hours), with a very flexible schedule.
This is a very workable position that offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build a friendship while helping me successfully navigate law school.
