Got Old Electronics Gathering Dust? Put Them to Good Use.
Got a broken laptop sitting in a drawer or an old computer taking up space in the garage? Don't throw it out. We’re taking in old, broken, and half-working electronics right here in Lee County and putting them to work for the community.
Instead of sending your old tech to the landfill, we use it to teach real, hands-on skills. Your donated equipment becomes the training ground for our local classes, where folks from Lee, Wise, and the surrounding areas learn computer repair, electronics troubleshooting, and hardware rebuilding.
What We Are Looking For
If it has a circuit board, we can probably use it to teach someone how to fix it. We take:
Computers & Towers: Outdated, dead, or barely running.
Laptops: Missing keys, cracked screens, or completely fried.
Computer Parts: Old hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and power supplies.
General Electronics: Radios, testing equipment, and other household electronics. (blenders, phones, etc.)
Why Donate?
We believe in fixing things instead of throwing them away. By handing over your old gear, you aren't just cleaning out your closet or maybe even your shed or barn. You'd be helping your neighbors learn valuable, practical trades in hardware and IT repair. (Classes are donation based free if you don't have it a donation if you feel like it.)
How to Drop Off Your Items
Location: 179 Chapelle, Rd Jonesville (Next to Small Town Scoops)
(Call to arrange a time to drop anything off the classes aren't open yet. We're still setting up)
Hours: Call and we'll meet you there! (We'll even give you a sneak peek at the shop!)
What About My Data?
We physically pull and destroy or wipe all hard drives before anyone else touches the machine. Nobody is looking through your personal files. If you want proof for your peace of mind, just ask, and we’ll send you a data destruction receipt.
